He is clearly devoted to his practice and exudes compassion and empathy for children that have food allergies. He is aware of emerging research and therapies, he does not operate from a place of fear but rather from science and common sense. He is amazing and a genius. After 36 years of suffering with an Egg Allergy, Dr. Shah and NYFA literally changed my life!! I had a several visits to the ER, and after years of physical and mental exhaustion, planning and avoiding, I saw a video on social media about NYFA and the Fate program. After being told by numerous pediatric allergists that our 5 year old's peanut allergy was too severe to treat, we were beyond relieved to be recommended to Dr. Shah by a school acquaintance. Even though the peanut allergy was considered very severe, Dr. Shah developed an oral immunotherapy plan that allowed us to overcome the allergy and our child is nearly at the point where the allergy is no longer life threatening. There is a big time and cost commitment to get to this point, but the payoff is immense. The fear and concern with dropping our child off at school or at a birthday party is no longer, and for that Dr. Shah and his staff will always have our eternal thanks. Not only were they the only facility willing to treat us, but the service we received was first class. We could not more strongly recommend an allergist for anyone with a child facing a severe food allergy.

Dr. Shah has quite literally changed my son’s life for the better in every way possible. If you have food allergies, book an appointment with Dr. Shah immediately! To say that he's changed my life is an understatement! I've been told by countless allergists that I'm allergic to shellfish for my entire life. Thats 40 plus years of being terrified of anaphylaxis. Well, after seeing Dr. Shah, it turns out that my bloodwork only shows up with a mild indication to shrimp, not all of them. And the level was so low he was willing to put me through a food challenge. And I passed!!
